The tournament will feature eight teams competing in a single round-robin format. The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, with one semi-final taking place in Bengaluru and the other in either Colombo or Guwahati. The final is scheduled for November 2, 2025, in either Bengaluru or Colombo.

In addition to the World Cup matches, Guwahati will also host a warm-up match between India and South Africa on September 27, 2025, providing fans with an early glimpse of the action.
