Guwahati: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated Sarat Chandra Sinha memorial park, an auditorium and the Jananeta’s renovated house ‘Koput Neer’ in Dhubri district of Assam on Monday.
The newly renovated auditorium and the house will boost tourism in the entire Northeastern region. A total of Rs 1 crore was spent in the construction works. The amount was spent from Untied Fund 2016-17.
It is to be mentioned that Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal also unveiled the statue of former CM Sarat Chandra Sinha at Ratnapith College in Dhubri.
CM Sonowal urged the youth of Assam to study hard and take inspiration from the great leader.
