Guwahati: After a violent clash took place at the Assam-Mizoram border on Saturday night, Excise, Forests & Environment and Fisheries Minister Parimal Suklabaidiya visited the area on Sunday to take stock of the situation.
Suklabaidiya was accompanied by Cachar DC, SP & senior district administration officials.
The Minister took stock of situation at the Assam-Mizoram bordering area where several houses of the people of Assam were gutted on Saturday night. Suklabaidiya ordered a high-level enquiry into this untoward incident.
