Guwahati, March 8, 2024 – The Border Security Force (BSF) Frontier HQ in Guwahati celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th with fervor and enthusiasm under the theme ‘Inspire Inclusion.’ Led by Mrs. Nandita Kotnala, alongside a significant turnout of Prahari Sanginis, the celebration emphasized the inclusiveness of inspiring women, fostering a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.
Mrs. Nandita Kotnala, in her address, underscored the significance of Women’s Day and highlighted the remarkable achievements made by women in various spheres of life. She emphasized the necessity of education for every woman in today’s era, asserting its role in the comprehensive development of the nation and society at large.
Praising the dedication and contributions of the Mahila Praharis (women guards) of the Border Security Force, Mrs. Kotnala noted their exemplary performance in line with their male counterparts, significantly contributing to the nation’s security.

Additionally, the event paid homage to the widows of bravehearts who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty, honoring their resilience and sacrifice.
