Guwahati, Sep 13: Assam: Govt to give ration cards to 17-lakh new beneficiaries, who will later apply for Orunodoi Scheme. And the process start from September 19.
Recently, Assam Govt made this a rule that, for an applicant to secure Orunodoi, she must also have ration
cards. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said during addressed a press conference after cabinet meeting at Janata bhawan in Dispur, Guwahati on Friday evening.
In the press conference Sarma also said that
32 cases of Assam online trading scams have been registered in Assam. The all 32 cases to be handed over to Central Bureau Investigation (CBI).
It will take one month time to transfer the case from Assam police to CBI.
CM Sarma said that he has already discussed the matter with Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the case.
