Last night, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a chilling death threat allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding ₹5 crore to resolve ongoing conflicts involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Preliminary reports indicate that a message was sent via WhatsApp to the Traffic Division, claiming to represent the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The sender threatened severe consequences for Khan if the police did not comply with the demand. The message ominously warned that Salman Khan could face a fate worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who was fatally shot outside his son’s office in Bandra on October 12. Siddique was reportedly close to Khan.
The Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation but have yet to confirm the authenticity of the threat or whether it originated from a criminal gang or was an individual act aimed at harassing law enforcement. In light of the recent influx of false threats received by the police, they are cautiously approaching this case and following standard investigative protocols.
This incident follows a series of alarming developments concerning Salman Khan’s safety. Earlier this year, Navi Mumbai police arrested a suspect named Sukha, believed to be connected to a plot to assassinate the actor. This came after an incident in April 2024, when shots were fired outside Khan’s residence in Bandra.
Authorities are actively investigating the latest threat and are prepared to take swift action to ensure the safety of all involved.
