Train to Assam goes without engine for 2km in West Bengal. Passengers on board the Assam-bound Bengaluru-Tinsukia weekly superfast express had a close shave when the engine got detached from its 21 coaches and travelled nearly 2km on its own as the coaches stopped near Madarihat.
