8 Bangladeshi nationals arrested at Guwahati railway station

8 Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended at the Guwahati Railway Station as they prepared to board the 15930 Dibrugarh-Chennai Express. They were arrested by Government Railway Police during a routine check.

As per their statements, they entered India through Agartala border on April 20 and boarded the Guwahati-bound bus the next day and arrived in Guwahati on Monday morning.

Two agents named Khonkan Hussain and Kamal Hussain were also arrested in connection with the case. The agents took money from Bangladeshi national and promised jobs in Chennai.

The Bangladeshi Nationals who were apprehended included- Akram Hussain, Dilwer Hussain, Rubel Hussain, Kamal Hussain, Manir Hussain, Abu Taher, Sobuj Hussain and Manir Hussain.
