GUWAHATI, July 6: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday shared a video on Facebook in which he can be seen spending some time with young children from the tea-garden community. The children sang a beautiful Assamese song, and mesmerised by their voices, the Chief Minister wrote:
“In the midst of a busy schedule, a handful of sunny moments with the tiny talents of the people—these talents are the light of hope for Assam’s future. There are countless such talents in the land of Assam—what they just need is encouragement, love, and the right direction. Blessings and best wishes to everyone.(translated)”
Despite his busy schedule during the ongoing Assam Budget Assembly Session, the Chief Minister was seen taking some time out to interact with the young minds at his office.
It may be mentioned that Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is widely known for coming forward to help people and listen to public grievances, which has made him one of the country’s most popular leaders.
