Parimal Suklabaidya who represents the Dholai constituency is the new Environment & Forests, Fisheries, Excise Minister of Assam.
Suklabaidya was also a Cabinet Minister in Sarbananda Sonowal led-Cabinet.
Parimal Suklabaidya was born in Irongmara of Cachar district. His father’s name is Late Profulla Suklabaidya, and his mother’s name is Late ProtivaSuklabaidya. He married Uma Suklabaidya. They have one son and one daughter.
Suklabaidya completed his Bachelors in Arts in the year 1980, from Guru Charan College, Silchar. He passed his PU (Higher Secondary) from the same college in 1977. He is a 1975 batch Matric pass from P.C. Barjalenga High School.
