Assamese actress Surabhi Das is all set to make her Bollywood debut in director Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated film Ramayana, releasing in late 2026.
She will play Urmila, sister of Sita and wife of Shatrughna. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, with a powerful ensemble cast including Yash, Sunny Deol, Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, and Mohit Raina.
Surabhi, known for her roles in Assamese films and the Hindi serial Nima Denzongpa, called the experience of working with Ranbir and Nitesh Tiwari “amazing.”
