BJP Professionals’ Cell Chief Gaurav Somani Meets Assam CM; Pledges to Induct 3,000 Professionals into Party Fold
In a significant organizational development, Gaurav Somani, the State Convenor of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Professionals’ Cell, Assam, called on the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). The high-level meeting centered around leveraging the expertise of the state’s intellectual capital and strengthening the party’s organizational framework ahead of upcoming developmental milestones. During the interaction, State Convenor Gaurav Somani shared a resolute vision to actively induct and engage over 3,000 highly qualified professionals—including doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, IT specialists, legal experts, women entrepreneurs, social media influencers, health care experts and management leaders—into the BJP fold to directly channel professional expertise into state policy discussions and grassroots progress. So far after Somani taking over the charge of the Professionals Cell around 500 professionals from diverse sectors have joined the BJP Professional Cell.
Somani formally handed over a comprehensive progress report detailing the recent initiatives, outreach programs, and baseline structural achievements of the BJP State Professionals’ Department under his leadership, which paved the way for an in-depth dialogue on building an advanced, issue-driven organizational structure capable of communicating the government’s flagship welfare and industrial policies effectively to urban and educated demographics.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma highly appreciated the systematic approach of the Professionals’ Department and extended his complete assurance of support from both the government and organizational levels to back the Cell’s upcoming public initiatives and professional acceleration programs.
