GUWAHATI , July 31: A book titled “The Cubic Methods”, authored by Manash Jyoti Talukdar, was officially released recently at a ceremony held at Birinchi Kumar Barua Khetra in Chandmari.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Kabyaneel Talukdar, the blindfolded cube-solving world record holder, Spondon Nath, the first WCA (World Cube Association) delegate from Assam and the Northeast, and renowned academician Shantanu Kuwar among others.
The book explores various analytical techniques and innovative approaches in the field of cubing, making it a valuable resource for enthusiasts, speedcubers, and mathematical thinkers alike.
Speaking on the occasion, Kabyaneel Talukdar remarked, “This book comes at a time when cubing is not just a recreational pursuit but a growing intellectual discipline. The Cubic Methods provides clarity and depth to an area that bridges pattern recognition, algorithmic thinking, and mental endurance. It is heartening to see such a contribution emerge from Assam, inspiring both newcomers and seasoned cubers.”
