Kokrajhar, July 25: Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro today laid the foundation stone for installation of statue of Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma at the Central Institute of Technology (CIT) campus in Kokrajhar.
The statue will be constructed under the initiative of the CIT Society at an estimated cost of Rs 30 lakhs, which will be funded by the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
The foundation laying ceremony was attended by Prof. Devendra Jalihal, Director (Addl. Charge), CIT Kokrajhar, faculty members, and senior officials among others .
