A key highlight of the initiative is the Special Financial Aid Scholarship Policy for students belonging to North East states, reinforcing CGC University’s focused outreach and support for the region. Under this policy: Students from North East India will be eligible for exclusive financial assistance opportunities. An additional scholarship of ₹8,000 per semester will be granted as Special Financial Aid, which will be over and above any existing scholarship, irrespective of category. Speaking at the launch, Dr. Kalota emphasized, “CGC University is committed to nurturing talent from every corner of the country. Through the CGCUET Scholarship Program and our dedicated support for North East students, we aim to remove financial barriers and create pathways for academic and professional success.” The ₹50 Crore scholarship initiative is designed to reward merit, recognize potential, and ensure that financial limitations do not hinder a student’s aspirations.
