GUWAHATI: Assam Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday announced that the newly-constructed extension of Ganeshguri flyover, connecting the Zoo road(R G Baruah road) with GS Road(Srimanta Sankardev Path) will be inaugurated on October 22.
The 476-metre extension of the Ganeshguri flyover is being built under the State Own Priority Scheme (General) with a financial outlay of Rs 58.76 crores.
The state government has already started construction work for nine-foot over bridges in different places of Guwahati.
