Azara,June 6: Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport observed the birth anniversary of Assam’s first Chief Minister and Bharat Ratna awardee, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi, with solemn reverence and patriotic fervor today.
The commemorative ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Airport Security Officer (CASO) along with senior airport officials, setting a respectful tone for the event.
In a heartwarming gesture, airport staff performed a patriotic song, engaging passengers and fostering a sense of national pride. To mark the occasion, sweets and saplings were distributed among passengers, adding warmth and significance to the celebration.
