Chinmoy Laskar, another accused in the Guwahati blast, was arrested on Friday night from Nagaon.
Based on the information provided by Jahnabi Saikia (one of the prime accused in the grenade blast case), the Latashil Police brought Chinmoy to its custody for thorough interrogation.
The youth packs the grenade to hurl it at the spot and picked up another youth on his way to accomplish the plan – As per reports.
The Golaghat Police on Friday morning detained a former United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) member in connection with the blast that rocked Guwahati Wednesday evening. Identified as Amit Ballav Goswami, the man was bomb experts of the ULFA.
Earlier on Thursday, the Police arrested Jahnabi Saikia Das and ‘self-proclaimed’ pro-talk ULFA member Pranamoy Rajguru in connection with the blast near Guwahati Central shopping mall in Zoo Road.
