One person is missing and four others rescued after a boat capsized In Brahmaputra river, this evening.
As per reports, Kanak Mazumder, Arup Kalita, Junmoni Mahanta, Ratneswar Das had managed to rescue.
The boat was on its way to Rani Sapari, when it capsized.
Naba Kalita is still missing.
The search and rescue operation for the fifth occupant of the boat is still under way.
The state ferry services suspended from plying over Brahmaputra and Barak river till 5th May due to Cyclone FANI. However, the boat was plying over the river secretly – Reports said.
