Guwahati, Assam October 7: The makers of the highly anticipated Assamese feature film TIBRO have officially announced that the film will be released in cinemas across Assam on 4th December, 2026. The official teaser was released in the YouTube channel of D.H Productionz.
Produced under the banner of Dream House Productionz (India) Pvt. Ltd., Tibro was the dream project of late producer Neeta Sharma.The film marks the debut of actor Zulfi Shaikh in the lead role, alongside actress Preety KKongana.
Adding to the emotion and pride of the project, the film features a special song recorded by the heartthrob of Assam, our beloved Zubeen Garg. The song has been choreographed by renowned Bollywood choreographer Sandeep Soparrkar.
The film is written and directed by Abrar, who began work on the film when he was just 19 years old, making him one of the youngest directors in the history of Assamese cinema.
In a noble gesture, Producer Suresh Sharma has announced that a minimum of Rs 21 Lakhs or 20% of the total profit from the film will be donated for relief and rehabilitation of flood victims in Sivasagar and Charaideo districts.
Speaking on the announcement PR and Marketing Strategist Subhankar Banerjee said, “Tibro is a special movie, it has many shades and I am hopeful people will love it. We are excited to finally bring it to the audience and we hope to receive the same love that the people of Assam have always given to Assamese cinema.”
