Neeru Dhanda Wins Trap Gold, Secures India’s 5th Gold at Asian Games 2026

Indian shooter Neeru Dhanda won the women’s individual trap gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games on Tuesday, earning India its fifth gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Games.

Dhanda topped both the qualification round and the final, scoring 26 points in the eight-shooter final. China’s Sun Yunong and Kuwait’s Hajar Abdulmalik shared the silver medal after both scored 21 points.
