GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has released a fresh COVID19 SOP — Standard Operating Procedure — on Tuesday. According to the new SOP three districts — Jorhat, Sonitpur and Biswanath are the districts where the curfew has been relaxed.
According to the new SOP, all three districts are showing a moderate positivity rate/ caseload and the curfew timing will be 2 PM to 5 AM.
Except shops dealing with groceries, fruits and vegetables, dairy and milk booths, animal fooders, will be allowed to operate till 5 PM according to the new SOP.
On the other hand, all other establishment including government offices, workplaces, will be allowed to operate till 1 PM.
