Guwahati, Nov 9: The 3rd edition of the GSA Youth & Kids League 2025, organised by the Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) in collaboration with NorthEast United FC (NEUFC), concluded successfully at the Judges’ Field in Guwahati on Sunday.
The tournament, which witnessed over 60 matches across seven age categories—from Under-7 to Under-19—served as a platform to nurture young football talent and promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and the spirit of grassroots football in Assam.
NEUFC emerged as the most dominant side of the competition, clinching five out of seven championship titles across different age groups.
At the closing ceremony, GSA President Paresh Chandra Das, General Secretary Devajit Saikia, ACA Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh, GSA Joint Secretary Sajjad Zaheer Hussain, GSA Vice President Amba Saikia Patgiri, and GSA Treasurer Kajal Paul Choudhury graced the occasion and distributed prizes to the winners.

- U-17: NEUFC beat Greenfield FC 2–0
- U-19: NEUFC beat Greenfield FC 4–1
The league once again highlighted the growing enthusiasm for football among the youth of Assam, reinforcing the region’s commitment to building a strong foundation for future sporting excellence.
