STAFF REPORTER GUWAHATI, OCTOBER 9 / — / Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has launched its F35 series in India as the F series completes 10 years in the country, introducing two new 5G smartphones with an emphasis on group selfies, camera features, battery life and durability.
The new lineup comprises the OPPO F35 Pro 5G and OPPO F35 5G. The company said it has sold more than 30 million F series smartphones in India over the past decade, reflecting the growing demand for devices that support photography, content creation and social media use.The F35 series features a 50-megapixel ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view, designed to capture more people in a single frame.
An AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch is also included to make group photography easier during family gatherings, festivals, weddings and travel.The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 45,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, Rs 49,999 for the 8GB and 128GB variant, and Rs 54,999 for the 8GB and 256GB variant. The OPPO F35 5G costs Rs 38,999 for the 6GB and 128GB version and Rs 42,999 for the 8GB and 128GB model. Both phones will be available from October 11 through retail outlets, the OPPO India e-store, Flipkart and Amazon.The F35 Pro 5G will be offered in Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue and Twilight Brown, while the F35 5G will be available in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink. Buyers can also avail themselves of offers including up to 10 per cent instant cashback, no-cost EMI, an exchange bonus of up to 10 per cent and zero down payment schemes, subject to applicable terms.Goldee Patnaik, head of communications at OPPO India, said the F series had evolved alongside changing consumer habits over the past decade. He said Assam’s culture of family gatherings, festivities and shared experiences reflected the spirit behind the new series, adding that the ultra-wide camera was designed to bring more people and moments into a single frame.The F35 Pro 5G features a 50-megapixel main rear camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide rear camera. It supports 4K video recording through both front and rear cameras, along with Ultra-Steady mode and Dual-View Video.
Other imaging features include Natural Tone 2.0, Portrait Mode, AI Popout and AI Remix Collage. The standard F35 5G also comes with a 50-megapixel main rear camera.Both models feature an 8,000mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, according to the company. OPPO said the battery was designed to retain more than 80 per cent of its original capacity after up to 1,800 charging cycles. The phones also offer IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 water and dust resistance ratings, Rainstorm Touch and military-grade shock resistance.The F35 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor and features a 17.22cm 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The F35 5G comes with a 16.69cm FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both run on ColorOS 16, which includes AI-powered tools for recording, document processing, call protection and security.
