GUWAHATI: The first convention of newly formed political party Raijor Dal begun today at Moran in Dibrugarh district of Assam. The venue of the convention has been named as Mahaveer Lachit Borphukan Samannway Kshetra.
The three day convention will not only elect the party’s full-fledged committee but also chalk out its political line and programmes and will end on January 9.
The first day programme of the convention includes flag hoisting by film maker Jahnu Baruah, delegation-level meet, Satirtha Sanmilan etc.
