Nagaon, Sept 5: A Saturation Camp for Jansuraksha Schemes, Re-KYC and activation of inoperative accounts was organised 5 sept by the State Bank of India (SBI), Raha Branch at Ranthali GP under Raha Block, Nagaon.
The programme was graced by Smt. Susmita Phukan, Regional Director, RBI, Smt. Poonam Chetia, DGM FIDD, RBI, Mr. Amit Ranjan, DGM SLBC LHO Guwahati, Mr. Santosh Kumar, LDO, RBI.
Around 175 people attended the camp. The dignitaries delivered elaborate speeches on Social Security Schemes (PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY), while also stressing the importance of Re-KYC and reactivation of inoperative accounts. Awareness on digital fraud prevention was also highlighted during the session.
On-the-spot enrolment drives saw 16 customers enrolled under PMSBY & PMJJBY, while several forms for Social Security Schemes including APY were distributed and collected by Customer Service Points (CSPs).
