SIVASAGAR: Senior journalist Arun Tagore passed away at Sivasagar Civil Hospital, leaving the media fraternity in deep mourning. He was widely known for his outspoken stand on public issues and his consistent voice against cattle smuggling in the region.
Arun Tagore was an active member of the Hindu Federation and earned respect for his fearless journalism and principled approach to reporting. His contributions to the field and his commitment to social causes were acknowledged across sections of society.
Expressing grief over his untimely demise, Journalist Union of Assam Sivasagar District Committee Secretary Farhan Lahkar and President Manisha Garg Sharma conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, remembering him as a dedicated journalist and a conscientious citizen.
