The youth identified as Abhilash Bora who is a resident of Sorai Habi Gaon no 2 in Moran town of the district joined the banned militant outfit leaving his child and wife behind.

According to reports, Bora cut his ties with his family on May 5 and went to join the banned organization.

Meanwhile, through his friends, Abhilekh’s family members have learned that he has joined the ULFA (I).

It is also learned that Abhilekh had also performed in the recently Sonowal Kachari Sahitya Sabha program last May 3, 2022.

Abhilash Bora’s parents and his wife have urged Paresh Baruah to send him home because he had undergone surgery recently.
