Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has picked on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not holding a press conference during his tenure of over 1,000 days and suggested he should try addressing reporters as it is fun to be asked questions.
Gandhi also tagged photographs from his press conference in Hyderabad on Wednesday to put his point across.
“Dear Mr Modi, Now that campaigning is over, hope you can spare some time for your part-time job as PM. Btw its been 1,654 days since u became PM. Still no press conference?” he tweeted on Wednesday.
The tweet was retweeted 6,900 times and liked by more than 29,000 people since Gandhi posted it on late on Wednesday.
The Congress president routinely addresses the Prime Minister as Dear Mr Modi or take a jibe at his Bharatiya Janata Party government and his policies.
His Twitter following is only 7.9 million and Modi has 44.6 million followers. The Prime Minister is the second most followed head of state on the platform after US president Donald Trump.
