Also known as Laylat al-Qadr, this night is considered as one of the holiest Islamic nights.

Shab-e-Qadr 2020 date
Shab-e-Qadr is mostly observed on the 27th of Ramzan. In India, Shab-e-Qadr will be observed on May 21 this year. Muslims in India will start the prayers on the evening of May 20th and will continue it till the morning of 21st May.
significance of Shab-e-Qadr
Laylat al-Qadr signifies the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Mohammad. Muslims believe that on this night the blessings and mercy of God are abundant. Some recite Quran entire night to seek God’s blessings and mercy.
Shab-e-Qadr Dua
Muslims make special dua during Shab-e-Qadr and it is, ‘Allahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa’fu `annee’.
