GUWAHATI: As the number of COVID-19 positive cases are increasing in huge numbers everyday, Assam Government may impose Partial/ Full Lockdown in different parts of Guwahati.
The Lockdown may be imposed in area’s like Fancybazar and Pandu area as a number of COVID-19 positive cases have been detected from these areas.
The Assam Government has earlier hinted at the community spread of COVID-19, but within a specific part of Guwahati. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said the spike in the number of cases reported among Guwahati without any travel history was a matter of grave concern.
