Guwahati: On 76th Birth Anniversary of Former PM of India Late Rajiv Gandhi the district units of Assam State NSUI paid tribute to their beloved leader by organizing various programs. The programs were held by maintaining Covid
protocols.
The programs included online and offline art competition (Kamrup Metro, Hailakandi, Tinsukia and Hojai District NSUI), distribution of fruits among the patients and medical stuff (Barpeta District), distribution and plantation of saplings (Nalbari, Sonitpur, Kamrup Metro, Nagaon and Lakhimpur District NSUI), distribution of food items and clothes among the paupers (Kamrup Metro and Jorhat District NSUI), distribution of stationary items among the orphans (Nalbari and Karimganj District NSUI).
All the units of Assam State NSUI today remembered the youngest PM of India who had a vision and mission to develop India with a scientific outlook. The members of NSUI resolved today to endeavor their level best to establish a new and modern India having border outlook comprising all the citizens of India irrespective of the caste, creed and religion which was a dream of Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi.
