GUWAHATI: Cotton University to conduct examination as scheduled; suspends offline classes till further notice.
Cotton University on Monday issued a notice regarding the decision taken by the University on Covid. The decision is regarding the exams of the students and the norms and protocols to be followed by the same.
“The UG 1st semester examinations will be held as scheduled to the adherence to Covid-19 protocols
Adherence to the physical distancing norms will require more rooms to conduct the examinations. Hence all offline theory classes are suspended till further notice.
The practical classes of PG 1st semester for the remaining few experiments may be conducted by concerned departments in small groups.
Online classes will be held as per existing routine to compensate for the suspended offline classes for timely completion of course content.
During the period of suspension of offline classes Faculty members will have to be present in the university for invigilation and other official assigned duties, departmental meetings, etc.
No Faculty member, official or staff member of the University is allowed to leave station headquarters without prior permission of the University authority.
Decision regarding the suspension of offline classes will be reviewed on 5 May 2021,” stated the official notification.
