Nagaland will host its first-ever Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) round in November this year.
Indian National Rally Championship is a rallying series organised by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India.
The 2021 INRC calendar was revealed last month, with the latest season comprising of six rounds spread across eight months.
The championship will kick start in Chennai from April 23-25 and would feature the addition of a new SUV class.
According to Autocar, the championship was shortened last year due to the pandemic.
However, this year, the INRC season will return to a more standard format.
Apart from Nagaland, Delhi and Hampi are also new entries. This is the first time that INRC organisers have given hosting rights to the three venues.
Following Round 1 in Chennai, the INRC will move to Bengaluru (May 28-30), Coimbatore (July 17-18), Delhi-NCR (August 27-28) and Hampi (October 1-3), before wrapping up in Nagaland on November 12-14.
