Indian Army distribute bicycles to students at Baksa

A unit of Red Horns Division- Indian Army distributed 30 cycles to students of Patkijuli village, Baksa district on Thursday as a part of Operation Sadhbhabna of the Indian Army.

Local people appreciated the initiative and said that the initiative will help the students belonging to Below Poverty Line(BPL) category.
Speaking to Guwahati Times, a local resident said, ” Students will be able to cover long distances easily now. It will uplift the education standards in the remote corners of Assam and motivate the students for excellence in education.”

“This initiative is a step towards Child Education and Empowerment and supports the Make in India movement,” he added.
