Parinita Barman is among the top qualifiers from Assam for Miss India 2022. Barman is a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Final year student, and a model by profession.
In an exclusive interview with Guwahati Times
, when asked about herself, Parinita Barman said, “I was born and brought up in Pathsala, Assam, and currently living in Bangalore for my studies.”
She did her Schooling from Shankardev Shishu Vidya Niketan, Pathsala, and Higher secondary from Anundoram Borooah Academy, Pathsala.
Her hobbies include- Kickboxing, Listening to music, Reading, Yoga, Meditation, etc.
When asked about her modeling career, she said, “I started Modelling back in 2017 as a Print model. I was very interested in fashion and styling since my teenage.”

“I feel really blessed and grateful to be selected as one of the top finalists for Femina Miss India 2022. I’ve been working really hard for it for a very long time and I’m proud of myself that I’ve come so far,” she said when asked about her feeling about getting selected among the Top 10 from Assam.
Modeling as a career- Modeling is not just about having a pretty face. You’ve got to be confident. You’ve got to learn to cope with rejections and failures. Building and maintaining yourself to stand out is practically a 24/7 job in itself.
Family’s support in her modeling journey- My family is the biggest support system in my life. I couldn’t have come this far without their constant guidance, love, and prayers. I’m really blessed and grateful. “Thank you so much Maa Deuta for believing in me and letting me follow my dreams. I hope you’re proud of me.”
Future plans- As a Dentist and a daughter of a Social Worker, I would like to give back to society through my education and service.
