Diya Palit from Sivasagar, Assam is the Miss India Assam 2022.
Hundreds of candidates from Assam participated in the Miss India beauty pageant and Diya is the one selected. She is going to represent Assam in Miss India 2022.
Diya Palit is a Student. She is currently pursuing her BSc Honours in Psychology from Sarojini Naidu College for Women.
Palit did her schooling at R.N. Podar School(Mumbai).
In an exclusive interview with Guwahati Times, she said her hobbies include- Rifle Shooting, MMA kickboxing, Yoga, Dancing, Singing, Painting, and Cooking.
Since when have you been modelling and How did you come into modelling?
At the age of 15-16, I was scouted on Instagram by Anima Creative Management. I began modelling when I was 15 years old. It was a fantastic experience, but I’d like to pursue other career opportunities!.
How do you feel about being selected as Miss India Assam?
I am grateful. Not everyone is given the opportunity to represent their birth state. I hope to someday make my motherland proud.
What do you want to do for the people of your state?
I would advocate for and speak out in support of rural healthcare. Bronchitis killed my Koka Deuta (Paternal Grandfather). His life could have been saved, but due to lack of resources at the hospital, he was unable to receive the necessary treatment. My greatest regret in life is that I never got to meet him because he went to the heavenly abode before I was born.
What do you think about Modelling as a career?
I’d think it’s a terrific way to learn about yourself and the profession, especially because I started when I was rather young. It gave me more self-assurance, and the features I disliked the most became my favourites. However, I valued my education just as much.
How does your family support you in your modelling career?
My parents have always been my strongest supporters. Everyone has always been there for me, no matter what. I feel really fortunate to have such a supportive family.

Living my life to the fullest!.
Who is your role model?
My uncle. I aspire to be as humble and as successful as him.
