Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) Executive Member(EM) Wilson Hasda on Thursday visited different flood-affected areas under Gossaigaon sub-division.
The Executive Member visited Karlingpur Village, Ward no.1 and 2 in Gossaigaon, and took stock of the damages caused by heavy rains and floods.
Hasda wrote on Facebook, “Visited the flash flood affected families of #Karlingpur Village along with Circle Officer of #Gossaigaon Sub Division.
Took stock of their needs and ensured full help from the Government. Temporary accommodation has been arranged at the Karlingpur LP School, #Dingdinga, Kokrajhar.”
Speaking to the media, Hasda said, “BTR Government is on high alert and we are continuously monitoring the flood situation. A dedicated helpline number has been issued for flood-related help and assistance- 6000363215.”
