Assam Education Minister has stated that the educational institutes of four districts of Assam – Golaghat, Chirang, Tinsukia, and Bongaigaon will have no summer vacation for class 9th and 10th standard.
The above-mentioned decision has been taken keeping in mind the poor HSLC results in these 4 districts.
After this announcement, teachers coming under educational institutes
of these Districts have started raising concerns.
The education minister has also said that summer vacation from the next year onwards will be only for 25 days.
