In a shocking incident, a minor girl aged about 16 years in Guwahati was gang-raped, filmed and then blackmailed on the day of ‘Uruka’ in the Barsapara area, Guwahati.
Meanwhile, Guwahati Police have arrested two accused and the main mastermind behind the crime is still absconding. The two arrested have been identified as Biki Saha and Bappa Ali.
The incident came to light after a case was registered at the All Women Police Station, Panbazar. Later, a medical examination of the minor girl was conducted by the Police Station.
As per reports, on Uruka (January 14), the guy identified as Biki Saha took the victim to his house on the pretext of giving her a treat on the occasion of Magh Bihu, where his two other friends were waiting for them. Later, the three forced her, beat her up, raped her and filmed the entire incident. They also threatened her not to inform the police about the incident.
The minor girl being afraid was silent for a few days and later filed an FIR with the help of her family.
