Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi to visit Bodoland this month

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi will attend the inaugural Bodoland International Knowledge Festival on February 27. Bodoland International Knowledge Festival is a one-of-its-kind festival being organized by the BTR Government. Many known faces from Bollywood are expected to grace the event including Sonu Sood, and Vivek Oberoi.

The event is being held at Bodoland University under the auspices of the Bodoland Territorial Government (BTR).

Taking to twitter, BTR CEM Pramod Boro wrote, “Popular Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has a sweet message for the people of BTR & Northeast as he is set to grace the inaugural day of NE’s first Bodoland International Knowledge Festival in Kokrajhar on February 27, 2023.”

The event would be attended by around 300 invited delegates from all over India and 35 foreign delegates from 14 other nations. The event will be graced by Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimari, RK Ranjan Singh, the Union Minister of State for Education & External Affairs along with Vice Chancellors of five Universities.

The festival would capture the information exchange, knowledge-action-reflection, and ongoing learning of many communities of practise in BTR.

The Bodoland International Knowledge Festival’s theme is the accomplishment of crucial SDG 2030 social development priorities in modern BTR and the global community.

Notably, over 10,000 participants including students, researchers, entrepreneurs, farmers, teachers and politicians will take active part in the Knowledge Festival.
