The Guwahati MX Motocross Challenge concluded on Sunday(May, 28, 2023) at the race track in North Guwhati.
Organized by the veteran riders and Guwhaati MX riders club members the event witnessed around 40 riders from differents states of Northeast India.
The winners list includes riders from Assam and Meghalaya,
Open Class:
Winner- Anupam Dey.
1st Runner up- Amit Chetry.
2nd Runner up- Jayda Nongkhlaw.
Expert Class:
Winner- Manash Rajbongshi.
1st Runner up- Anupam Dey.
2nd Runner up- Remekey.
Novice Class:
Winner-Veanny Nongrum.
1st Runner up- Lawrence Bhuyan.
2nd Runner up- Chingku Momin.
2 Stroke:
Winner- Amit Chetry.
1st Runner up- Banjop Umrah.
2nd Runner up- Veanny Nongrum.
Scooty Novice Class:
Winner- Dev.
1st Runner up- Nishant Sharma.
2nd Runner up- Aman Gill.
“The riders keep coming to practise here on Sundays and we also come here to enjoy as we also get week off from our jobs, me and my friends often come here to see them practise. I am happy to see that the racers here follow all safety norms and do their racing. They also promote safe riding. It is a good initiative for the society,” said a spectator, Manoj Das.
