GUWAHATI,March 25:The annual orientation program of college of education, Boko came to an end with a cultural rally taken out from the college across the Boko township on Saturday.
The rally was inaugurated by Dr Ganeswar Saharia Secretary of Sponsoring Committee of the college. A numbers of cultural programs like Assamese wedding ritual, the story of Tezimola, Satriya sanskriti have been presented by the trainees of the college. An open session and prize distribution program was held in the college auditorium under the presidenship of Jyoti Prasad Das, President of sponsoring committee of the college. Dr Pradip kumar Kalita, Principal of Mirza Teacher Training College illuminated the audience with his insightful words on the relevance of teacher training program in an educational scenario.The prize distribution session was hosted by Lukesh Kalita, lecturer of college of education Boko.
Jamini baishya, Principal of the college, Lakhikanta Sharma, Ex Principal, JN College, Jatin Pathak, social worker were present in the programme. The awards of different events held in the college week were distributed to the winners in the event.
