GUWAHATI,Sep 7: The World Physiotherapy Day 2024 was observed at PEWS group of institutions by College of Physiotherapy and Medical Sciences (CPMS) in Amgaon near Narengi on Saturday.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a welcome speech.

Apollo Excelcare Hospital and Dr. Biju chetri (PT), Physiotherapist CTVS GMCH attended as chief guest and highlighted the importance of World Physiotherapy Day before the gathering.
The event was attended by Principal of College of physiotherapy and medical Sciences Dr. Pallabi Goswami ,Dr. N. N . Sharma , senior faculty, pews group of institutions among others.
It may be mentioned here that a poster presentation competition was held at the beginning of the meeting. About 40 physiotherapy students participated in the competition.
