Police arrested the prime accused of an acide attack incident, conducted a few days back in Lakhimpur.
According to sources, the prime accused, identified as Pappu Borah attacked a college girl with acid upon her denial to his proposal for marriage.
The girl sustaining severe burns on many parts of the body later referred to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in serious condition.
