Himalayan state Sikkim was conferred the Future Policy Award 2018 for its hundred percent organic methods in Agreeculture during World Food Week at the headquarters of food and Agriculture Organization Rome, Intaly
According to sources, Sikkim by beating 51 other nominees from total 25 countries was able to win this award for being able to meet up it’s goals towards sustainable development by adopting hundred percent organic methods in cultivation apart from being numbered as one of the top hundred cleanest states in the world.
