Two extremists were apprehended by police near Harinagar market of Lakhimpur today. The extremists had been severely beaten up by public before being handed over to police.
A 12 bore single barrel rifle, 3 AK56 rifles, 1 Chinese LMG rifle were recovered from both the persons along with other arms and ammunitions.Later both were taken to the nearest PHE for treatment to the injury caused by public throbbing.
