Special team is on ground for the resque operation of the 15 miners that were trapped in an illegal rat-hole mine in East Jaintia Hills district, a team of 11 divers along with specilaised equipments has reached.
“The team along with the equipment will be transported by IAF helicopters from Guwahati to the nearest Helipad at Khleihriat and expected to reach the accident site by late night today,” a communique mentioned. The naval diving team is expected to join the rescue operations with first light on Sunday morning.
