Largest tea garden union of Assam has criticised PM Modi for ignoring the plights of tea growers in this Northeast state, while calling himself a ‘chaiwala’. PM Modi had promised Rs 350 minimum wage during his 2014 campaign. Union has demanded that PM Modi implements his promises.
