On March 22, the cermonial inauguration of special handloom expo was innaugurated at Gossaigaon HS school field of Kokrajhar district. MLA Gossaigaon, Sri Majendra Narjary, attended the program as chief guest, Sri Dhruva kr Brahma, Chairman Gossaigaon municipal board, Dr Kameswar Brahma, former president Bodo Sahitya Sabha cum Padma Shree award winner, and many other dignitaries attended the program as the guest of honours. The expo is organized by the BRAWFED sponsered by the development of commissioner for handlooms, Govt. Of India, Ministry of Textiles. Weavers from different part of India like-Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Kashmir etc have participated in the expo where various handmade cloths are displayed in their stalls.
